SUNDAY 19 AUGUST 2018 - David Gahary EXPOSING THE BIG PHARMA

John Virapen, Ph.D, former general director of Ely Lilly (the makers of Prozac) blew the whistle and wrote a tell-all book exposing the dirty, dark secrets of Big Pharma, SIDE EFFECTS: DEATH—Confessions of a Pharma InsiderJohn spent nearly four decades plying his trade: helping to gain approval for infamous drugs like Prozac, sweet-talking doctors and their staff to accept his free samples of the latest concoction from his company, bribing opinion leaders and regulatory authority employees, all to get more drugs into the hands of patients, some drugs that came with deadly side effects. After the birth of his last child, the hackles on the back of his neck were raised when he saw who Big Pharma was marketing to now: kids. Thanks to John we can learn all their dirty tricks, for never has someone so close to the action and that privy to the ways of Big Pharma exposed it all in book form. Join us on Sunday, 19 August 2018 at 6 PM when American Free Press journalist and author David Gahary—who worked very closely with John—shares the insights gained, and the inside information that Dr. Virapen was trying to expose, including issues of corruption, the creation of non-existent diseases and/or their “cures” and more.”

Sunday 11th November - Peter Jones: Orgonomy - The Biology and Physics of Life Doors open 17.30, talk begins at 18.00

Orgonomy is the study of the life energy, named orgone energy by its discoverer, Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957). The philosophical concept of a life energy is nothing new and has been assumed by all religions, philosophies, and cosmologies until the advent of western mechanistic science in the seventeenth century. This  viewpoint took over science in the nineteenth century and has dominated it ever since. It explicitly denies the existence of this force in nature. It is the first and only philosophy of life and the cosmos to do so. Although the mechanistic point of view dominates science completely today, many ordinary people outside the scientific community still accept the existence and workings of such a force without question. In fact the only community to whom this idea is an outrage is the scientific community! Orgonomy is the serious scientific investigation of this life energy and the body of knowledge that these investigations have produced. Peter Jones's talk will present a summary of present orgonomic knowledge. He will be bringing literature and equipment to illustrate his talk. (Website: www.orgonomyuk.org.uk)

Friday 15th February- Jameela Boardman: Education Issues                                         Doors open 19.30, talk begins at 20.00

The establishment wants education to produce people as economic units who obey their rules and are blindly conditioned to accept their version of beliefs without question. This is irrespective of where in the world, or what "beliefs" they may be. It is the self-preservation instinct of a regime. Conversely, 'Nature' requires the passing-on of wisdom, skills and knowledge from the older generations to the younger generation in a way that the young are: Creative, Inventive, Confident, Balanced and Curious - developing their various individual latent talents. The establishment sets Targets for education; this is being 'Object Oriented', where education is defined as passing exams. Materialistic society measures everything in material ways; qualifications and salary being the measure of a person. Conversely, 'Nature' wants a Mind to be opened by education, which is 'Subjective Oriented' or 'Person Centred' - where balanced wisdom and loving kindness are the desired qualities to be developed...So what can We  do?   www.northspirit.org
